Today is National Chicken Wing Day! Who doesn’t love chicken wings? There are numerous spots along the Grand Strand to have great tasting wings.

I have several favorites including Magoo’s in Myrtle Beach and The Original Islander Bar & Grill in Pawleys Island.

I personally like an Old Bay dry rub.

Where do you go for chicken wings? How do you like your wings prepared sauced up or no sauce?

Some days you feel motivated. Other days you simply make the choice.

After a long day of work, a 3-mile run in the South Carolina heat and humidity wasn’t exactly calling my name.

But encouragement from my wife and the thought that came to mind … “Matt, your goals don’t wait for you to be ready, they don’t care how you feel and they don’t take a day off.”

So with sneakers laced up … off we went.

Progress isn’t built on perfect days. It’s built on the days when you don’t feel like it but choose to take the next step anyway.

Whatever goal you’re chasing today, don’t wait for motivation. Take one action step. Your future self will certainly thank you.

A great Happy Hour event with fellow Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors Leadership CCAR graduates including my fellow Class of ‘24 grads Becki Lewis and Eleanora Rumbaugh and Class Chair Denise Coleman.

Congrats to Ryan Fox winner of the 2026 The Open and famed Claret Jug on Sunday. What a superb ending to the four days of golf played at Royal Birkdale Golf Club in Southport, UK.

The Claret Jug will definitely look great in the trophy room next to the hardware Ryan Fox claimed as the winner of the 2025 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic held at The Dunes Club.
