Eight years ago, Linda happened to meet one of ECHO's case managers at Kroger and learned about the work we do. Since then, she has continued to pop up every now and then with thoughtful donations to help the people we serve. 💙

Last week, she showed up with a car full of toiletries collected by her neighbors for our Veterans at NardMoor!

She is just the sweetest, and it means so much that she has continued to think of ECHO and the people we serve all these years later. Thank you, Linda, for your big heart and kindness! 💙

Celebrating recovery out loud helps break down stigma. 💜

Sharing recovery stories builds understanding, inspires hope, and reminds others that recovery is possible. Lived experience can be powerful, helping people feel less alone and encouraging them to reach out for support when they are ready.

At ECHO, 42% of our staff members report being in recovery from problematic substance use themselves. Their lived experiences bring compassion, understanding, and hope to the work we do every day.

We are proud to celebrate recovery and the people who continue to share their stories. 💜

September is National Recovery Month!

Recovery housing is more than a roof overhead. It provides a safe, supportive environment where people can build stability, connect with peers, and access services that strengthen long-term recovery.

ECHO was proud to participate in this year’s International Overdose Awareness Day event alongside so many local organizations committed to reducing stigma, supporting recovery, and helping people find a path forward.

💜 Join ECHO and many other community organizations as we come together to recognize International Overdose Awareness Day.

This event will bring together a variety of service providers and community resources, creating an opportunity to connect, learn, and support one another. We will be there with a resource table, and we hope you'll stop by and say hello.

Together, we remember those we have lost, support the people and families impacted by overdose, and continue to spread the message that recovery is possible! 💜

August 31st is right around the corner. We look forward to spending the evening with our community.
