If you are indeed responsible for maintenance in your home, one of the most important things to remember is your air filters. In the South, your air conditioner has likely run almost non-stop most of the summer, though temperatures are slightly more comfortable here on the beach. Make sure you change your air filters every two months or as often as they are dirty. This will reduce the strain on your HVAC system and help it run as efficiently as possible.
