Waccamaw Land & Timber Co. Company History - Keith Hinson (President) Waccamaw Land & Timber was formed in 1981 by Conway, SC native Keith Hinson.

The company specialized in selling large tracts of land, and in the first three years Waccamaw Land & Timber sold more than $60 million in land. Waccamaw Land & Timber has also sold more plantations than any other real estate company in the area, some of the most notable include Wachesaw Plantation, Willbrook Plantation, Heritage Plantation, TPC and Blackmoore just to name a few. estrated the sale of 450,000 acres, among GA, FL and AL, to a major corporation. He also helped create Timber Max, LLC a Real Estate Investment Trust which sold 76,000 acres to a division of Duke Power. Waccamaw Land & Timber has preserved over 8,000 acres which was sold to the US Fish & Wildlife. Waccamaw Land & Timber has also been involved with the sale of commercial properties, selling 1,200 acres on Water Tower Road in Myrtle Beach and building the Interchange off Hwy 31. The company developed the Blue Cross Blue Shield facility in Surfside. Today, Waccamaw Land & Timber continues to specialize in selling commercial, recreational, and residential tracts. Waccamaw Land & Timber is involved in the development of Withers Preserve at Market Commons, Forest Square at Carolina Forest and Town Centre located near International Drive & Hwy 31 in Myrtle Beach. The company is also developing Parmelee a townhome community in Murrells Inlet.
