We’re building a permanent Salty Paw Field Station in our Myrtle Beach rentals for shark-tooth hunting, and one piece still needs a name.

Every stay will include a little take-home collection bottle for the teeth, fossils and tiny beach treasures guests find. Take it hunting, fill it up, take it home.

But “shark tooth collection bottle” has all the personality of a tax form.

So: what should we call it?

We’re looking for something clever, memorable and a little cheeky, but not kiddie, cutesy or stuffed with shark puns.

Drop your best idea below. We may steal it shamelessly for the Salty Paw Field Station. 😏

Note: I need a name for the bottle, and not what goes into it. So that I can tell people, "put the shark's teeth you find into the bottle." There are a lot of good ideas, but a lot sound like the name of what you put in the container, not the name of the container.

Every stay adds a page to the guest book, and this one still has sand in the margins. Lynn spent a few days with us last week, staked her claim on the balcony table, and made her opinions about the ocean view known immediately. A little lobster toy came along for backup, mostly for decoration.

We love watching every dog find their spot here. Lynn found hers fast.

Ruthie's dog spent the whole stay parked at this railing, working the view like it was a full-time job.

That's kind of the point of Salty Paw Rentals: oceanfront, dog-friendly condos at Patricia Grand where your best friend actually gets to enjoy the trip instead of waiting it out in a crate or a car.
