There are several locations along the Grand Strand to experience the profoundly moving, sometimes chilling, outdoor Christian tradition held at dawn to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus,
Coastal Sunrise Easter Services symbolize light overcoming darkness.
Attendees gather in quiet anticipation on local beaches. The services usually begin in silence as the suns rises and continues with hymns, scripture readings, and prayers as the sun rises above the horizon.
Arrive early to find a parking space and bring a chair or blanket for seating.
