To the person thinking about moving to Conway, here’s my advice as a 9 year local 👀

🏘️ Explore more than one neighborhood and zip code. Not every portion is in city limits so each area has its own vibe. Take the time to see what actually feels right for you.

☕️ Think about your day-to-day life. Commutes, coffee spots, parks, grocery stores, and walkability matter more than most people expect.

🕰️ Visit at different times. A neighborhood can feel totally different on a quiet weekday versus a busy weekend.

📍 Plan a visit. The area is growing and expanding rapidly. It will look and feel different than it did two years ago.

🤝 Work with someone who knows the market beyond the listings. Timing, pricing, and off-market opportunities can make all the difference.

My son and I recently visited a local pottery studio in Conway, and it was such a fun experience from start to finish. We signed up for their Monster Making class, where we learned how to build our own monster out of clay. Once it dried, we came back to paint it—and seeing his excitement throughout the entire process made it even more special.
Whether you’re looking for something to do on a rainy day, trying to escape the summer heat, or just wanting to make a few memories with your kids, this is a great option.
The studio also offers wheel throwing and paint-your-own pottery, so there’s something for every age and skill level. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is incredibly patient, welcoming, and happy to help every step of the way.

Last weekend, my family and I checked out The Quad in Pawleys Island for the first time, and we’ll definitely be back.
As parents of two toddlers, we’re always looking for places where the kids can have fun and the adults can actually relax for a minute. The Quad checked all the boxes:
🍻 A bar for adult beverages
🧃 Plenty of drinks and juices for the kids
🎮 A game room
🌳 Tons of outdoor space to run, play, and enjoy lawn games
🎶 Live music
🚚 Amazing local food from Janie’s Flame and Flavor
We ordered the shrimp & flounder platter, steak fried rice, and a cheeseburger... and every bite was worth it. (Not pictured, because life with two toddlers means the food disappears before I remember to take a photo. 😂)

If I knew I wanted to buy a home in the next 6 months, here’s exactly what I’d be doing:
