SLOW COOKER CREAMY ONION POT ROAST 🍲

There is no better feeling than walking through the front door after a long day and being hit with the smell of a cozy pot roast. This recipe is completely effortless and creates its own rich, velvety gravy while it cooks. It is the ultimate comfort food bowl when served over a big scoop of mashed potatoes.

WHAT YOU NEED:

3 lb beef chuck roast
1 packet dry onion soup mix
10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup beef broth
Mashed potatoes for serving

HOW TO MAKE IT:

Place your chuck roast in the slow cooker and season with black pepper.

Whisk the onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, and beef broth together in a bowl.

Pour the sauce entirely over the meat.

Cover and cook on low all day (about 8 hours) until the beef shreds easily with a fork.

Serve a massive scoop of meat and its rich gravy directly over warm mashed potatoes.
