These fraudsters are spoofing the department's non-emergency line so it appears on caller ID, falsely telling residents they have an active warrant for their arrest.

⚠️️ REMINDER: The City of Groton Police Department will NEVER request or demand payment over the phone for an arrest warrant.

If you receive a suspicious call claiming to be from the police department or a federal agency:

Do not provide personal or financial information.
