This is the best blower door results we have personally tested. What it means?
Excellent airtightness, supporting comfort, durability and energy performance.

✅ HERS Index score: 0. What does that mean? Just like golf, the lower the score the better.
This home creates as much energy as it consumes over the course of a year. How is that possible?

✅ Because it is equipped with a high-efficiency heat pump HVAC system from Enertech. This cold-climate ready air source heat pump ensures comfort and efficiency.

Here in CT, we are happy to be working with some top builders and HVAC professionals on HERS Rated and Certified Energy Star homes.

This builder and his HVAC contractor are specificity impressive because they are consistently achieving sub‑1.5 ACH on the blower door and sub 1.5% on the duct leakage test.

How are they doing it? Nothing to special, but to name a few.

Awesome results today on this blower door test! The tightest house this builder has completed at 0.85 ACH! Best part, this house is completed using funding from the Build For CT Program which is an incentive for high quality affordable housing across the state. Proof houses can be affordable and energy efficient.
