Progress on the 2026 Curb and Valley Gutter Project is continuing with the contractor heading to Tanglewood and Wedgewood Streets next.
Valley gutters installed on single access point streets will be constructed in halves to allow residents continued access to their homes during construction. This will restrict the intersections to one lane width for traffic on those streets. Once those halves have cured, the other halves will be completed. Traffic should be aware and watchful of these restricted access points. Thru traffic should plan alternate routes, if possible.
A valley gutter at Tanglewood Drive and University Drive will also be constructed in halves due to heavy traffic volume through that intersection, as will curb repair at the Handprints Academy driveway to allow continual access. Work is expected to take a few days at each location once construction begins.
