Something happened today. After 9 months of hoop jumpng for a mortgage servicer to approve the short sale, a home sold. But it is not about the sale. It is about the people and lives that are changed. A young military veteran is released from a distressed property and can now move back to his hometown with his new bride. Another couple now has a secure, peaceful place to bring their new born baby home. But also about the people behind the scenes who put their heart and soul into this transaction. The mortgage lender who had the forethought to order the appraisal before the Short Sale was approved, the general contractor who performed repairs on a Sunday during Labor Day weekend, a title company who tirelessly contacted the Mortgage Servicer to push the short sale approval.
My assistant, Alicia Vinzant, who tirelessly obtained signatures at the drop of a hat, and the buyers agent who showed up in a very large way to keep everything going on his end. The city of Mountain Home who so graciously turned on the water immediately upon our request for 72 hours to get our final inspection. This home was not large, luxury or expensive by any means.
For me, Real Estate is not about the money, the flash or the status, it is about the clients and lives and homes we create . I am proud to call myself a Real Estate Broker. My clients are the most important part of the transaction, without the client, we have nothing. Almost 30 years I have helped to create HOMES. I am honored!
