The community is invited to celebrate the opening of the Caldwell Memorial Pool on May 23. The ribbon cutting for the bath house will begin at 3 p.m.
At 5 p.m., there will be a special “ribbon cutting” for the pool, followed by a free swim until 9 p.m.
We plan to show Finding Nemo in the grass area near the pool at dusk.

Looking ahead to 2026! // The City of Nampa is improving safety, mobility and infrastructure along Northside Blvd between Karcher Rd and Birch Ln.

What improvements are planned?
• Reconstruct the intersection at Northside Blvd and Karcher Rd as a multi-lane roundabout.
• Widen Northside Blvd north of Karcher Rd.

Why a roundabout?
The proposed roundabout at Northside Boulevard and Karcher Road was carefully considered to provide the safest and most efficient solution for traffic flow while also considering the physical constraints of the area. Specifically, the tunnel between Amalgamated Sugar Company’s plant and its tank farm makes it infeasible to add the necessary turn lanes for a traditional signalized intersection. A roundabout is the only practical option that fits within the available space while improving safety, reducing congestion, and accommodating all types of road users.

The Caldwell Executive Airport is seeking your input as a stakeholder as we begin the process of strategic planning to help set the direction for our airport.
🛩Why: The Airport has an Airport Master Plan but lacks an annually updated strategic plan which places more emphasis on solving strategic issues facing the Airport. The Airport Advisory Board believes both plans are needed to ensure we plan our future success in meeting the needs of a growing Treasure Valley.
🛩What: There will be two opportunities to give the Airport Advisory Board your strategic feedback as taxpayers, hangar owners, business owners, and pilots. January 30 and February 6 (6 p.m. to 8 p.m.).
