Finally got a chance to enjoy a morning ride at the Andrews Valley Rail Tours today. We've been sending our Airbnb guests for years, but due to our military service and mission in Alaska we hadn't had the chance to do it ourselves yet. What an amazing way to spend a spring morning, peddling effortlessly through the mountainside, traversing over Creeks, trestles, and even through an old tunnel. It was fascinating to learn the history of the tracks and to see the countryside in such a peaceful setting. Definitely on our top 10 list of things to do in the area! Thank you Andrews valley rail tours! Looking forward to many more years of sending our guests your way.

Soooo many kayakers and rafters on the upper Nantahala River today! It was fascinating to watch them and get to talk to some of them. Hopefully they'll book one of our tiny home cabins next time!

Some incredible kayaking on the Nantahala today! Many of them camped along the river. Hopefully next time we'll get to host them in some of our Airbnb cabins.
