Get to know the Sorella Management team! 🙌 Shawn Roberts is the Director of Operations at Sorella Management, bringing more than 20 years of experience in construction, property management, project coordination, and customer service. A Nantucket native, Shawn began his career as an apprentice carpenter on the island in 2004 and has since worked across the country in leadership roles spanning construction, facilities management, hospitality, and property operations.

After living and working in Colorado, Arizona, Wisconsin, South Carolina, and California, Shawn returned home to Nantucket to help build and support exceptional property management services for island homeowners. His diverse background allows him to approach challenges with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset while maintaining a strong focus on communication, organization, and client satisfaction.

When he’s not overseeing operations, Shawn enjoys photography, writing about Nantucket life in a weekly column for Yesterday’s Island, and spending time outdoors. He is passionate about preserving the character of Nantucket while helping homeowners enjoy their properties with confidence and peace of mind.
