Vegas gave me an award… but apparently my cute dress was the price of admission. 😂✨

Three years ago, I started Poppy Home Staging as a way to revive an old dream, do work I’m passionate about, serve others, and hopefully make a difference.
I never imagined that simply living my dream could lead to something like this.

Our very first award: Top 100 Most Influential People in Real Estate Staging, recognized by the Real Estate Staging Association. 🏆

I may have left the cute dress hanging in the hotel closet, but I came home with something WAY better.
A full heart, a very happy founder, and so much gratitude for every person who has trusted, supported, referred, voted for, and believed in Poppy along the way.

Turns out… sometimes you really can dream it, build it, and accidentally win an award for it. 💛

We almost never get to see the homeowners reaction in real time, so hearing these words in person was a treat! It’s true- explaining the value of home staging is tricky if one hasn’t experienced it before. This is why I always talk about explaining Stagjng as part of your marketing strategy with confidence as the number one part of being able to get sellers on board.

We are looking for someone who is hardworking, highly driven, positive, and ready to get right in the mix. Someone who can problem solve on their feet, jump in wherever needed, and bring a collaborative attitude to every install.

The right person is someone who:

Is eager to learn about design and home staging, experience is a plus

Can take constructive feedback and use it to grow

Is comfortable climbing ladders and lifting and carrying heavy items and ready to sweat

Has reliable transportation and is willing to use their vehicle when needed

Is open to traveling for staging projects

Can think on their feet and solve problems creatively

Is positive, dependable, and willing to work hard

Wants to grow alongside a thriving business

Every home stager has a list. 😂

You know… the little things that may go unnoticed by everyone else but somehow scream at us from across the room.

The things we quietly fix while thinking, “How did this happen?” 😅

Tell me I’m not the only one:

Artwork hung just a little too high
A tiny rug floating in a giant room
A kitchen styled within an inch of its life
Wrinkled bedding (the steamer is already in the truck, people!)
Lip marks on the wine glasses
Used staging towels
Someone sits on the sofa and walks away without fluffing the pillows

And yes… we will notice.
We will fix it.
We will probably say nothing.

Because apparently, this is who we are now.

This integrated staging project was the perfect example of how thoughtful design and strategic styling can elevate a listing without starting from scratch.

By combining the homeowner’s existing Serena & Lily-inspired furnishings with carefully selected pieces from our staging inventory, we were able to create a layered, elevated look that highlighted the selling features of this impeccable 2-bedroom downtown Napa home.

The home already had so much charm and personality, which gave us the opportunity to play with color, texture, soft goods, and styling details that created warmth, emotion, and connection throughout the space. We brought in the missing pieces to complete the story and create the kind of emotional impact that drives buyer interest and urgency.

Home staging is an investment, not an expense. When done strategically, it helps your listing stand out, attracts more buyers, and can deliver a significant return on investment.

You don’t have to stage the entire house to see results. Strategic staging in the most influential spaces can completely change how buyers experience a home. (This is exactly why we offer our *Heart of the Home* staging package.)
