A gentle community reminder for the Napa Valley π
Lately, there seems to have been an increase in abandoned animals being reported locally. Ducks, chickens, and other domestic animals have been found in public spaces, and situations involving pets needing urgent placement happen more often than many realize.
Sometimes people feel overwhelmed.
Sometimes circumstances change.
Sometimes someone simply doesnβt know where to turn.
Before leaving an animal behind, please know there may be another option.
Local organizations may be able to help with:
π Farm animal placement or guidance
π Rehoming support and rescue resources
πΆ Dogs and companion animals
π± Cats, kittens, and domestic pet resources
π Transport connections or referrals
π‘ Placement guidance and networking
π€ Pointing people toward additional local resources
You do not have to navigate difficult situations alone.

Our hope is simple:
More awareness.
More resources.
Fewer abandoned animals.
If this information may help someone someday, keeping it circulating in the community matters. π
