The excitement of buying your first home is endless - there's no limit to the customization you can bring to your own property! 🏡✨

Here are some tips from HGTV for furnishing your first home WITHOUT getting overwhelmed:

✅ Sort and get rid of your old stuff as soon as possible. You should eliminate 25-50% of your old or broken stuff.

✅ Don't buy everything at once. Buy items as you live in your home. As you get used to a space, your thoughts about what you need change.

✅ Not everything HAS to match. It is ok to mix styles throughout your home and mix and match sets. Use complementary colors to tie things together!

✅ Be practical when updating. For example, consider painting cabinets or swapping out the hardware if you can't afford to renovate your kitchen.

Don't forget, not everyone's home is magazine ready at all times. Take your time making your house your feel like home! 😉
