🏡✨ Happy Closing Day! ✨🏡
Some real estate journeys feel like they were meant to happen. ❤️

From the moment I met my wonderful buyer, I felt like I had just met a long-lost brother. Our journey started in Naperville and somehow ended in Tinley Park. We looked at only three homes, because when you know what you want, you don’t need to see a million houses. 😉

And then we walked into the last one. We looked at each other and said at the exact same time: “That’s the one!” 🥹🏡

Of course… it turned into another bidding war. 😅 But there was absolutely no way I was letting this one get away. I went in full power for my buyer, and thankfully, we won! 🏆❤️

Throughout this journey, it honestly felt like I had known him and his wonderful family forever. They welcomed me with so much warmth, trust, and kindness.

And today, we celebrated the closing with Turkish tea — the perfect ending to a very special journey. 🇹🇷☕️❤️

A birthday spent exactly where my heart wanted to be. ❤️🐾 Today, on my birthday, I took Joshy, an American Bully, out of the shelter for some much-needed love, fresh air, and freedom. 🥹

He may be surrounded by kennel walls right now, but he is so much more than a shelter dog. He is a sweet soul who deserves to feel loved, safe, and wanted. Watching his face light up as he got outside reminded me, once again, that sometimes the best birthday gifts are the ones we give—not the ones we receive. ❤️

I don’t know how long Joshy has been waiting at . I don’t know what his past looks like. But today, he wasn’t forgotten.

Maybe this is the best way I could have spent my birthday. Helping a dog feel seen. Because every shelter dog deserves to know that someone cares.

Happy birthday to me… and a little extra love ❤️ for Joshy. 🥹❤️🐾

The Day I Chose Love Over Fear ❤️🐾

I have always been afraid of Pit Bulls. Every time I saw one, I would instinctively cross to the other side of the sidewalk. I think that fear came from everything I had seen and read in the media. 😔

But today, on International Dog Day, I did something I never imagined I would do.

Through the Fetch a Friend program run by DuPage County Animal Services, DuPage County Animal Services I took Chase, a Pit Bull, out of the shelter for a few hours. 🐾❤️

And as I sat with him, I realized something heartbreaking: Chase doesn’t know what the media says about dogs like him. He only knows love, trust, and the hope that someone will give him a chance.

Today, Chase taught me that sometimes we have to get close to what we fear before we realize there was nothing to be afraid of.

The lucky person who gets to adopt 9 months old Chase will be incredibly blessed. ❤️🐾 One dog has already changed the way I see an entire breed, and I know he will change the life of whoever is lucky enough to give him a forever home.

On International Dog Day, I hope we can open our hearts before we judge a soul by its label. ❤️🐶

Please look beyond the breed. Look into their eyes. There is a heart there, too.

A Closing That Means More Than a Closing ❤️🐾

Some transactions close with a signature. Others close with a commission check. And some remind you why you do what you do.

A month ago, I crossed paths with Burcu, who has dedicated her life to rescuing abandoned dogs. She left her life in Istanbul behind, took her animals with her, bought a container and a small piece of land in the middle of nowhere, and started over—not for herself, but for them. ❤️

From this closing, I chose to donate 250 kg (552 lbs) of dog food to help feed her rescued animals for an entire month.

250 kg may sound like just a number, but to me it means hundreds of meals, full bowls, wagging tails, and one less month of worry for Burcu who has sacrificed so much for animals who cannot speak for themselves. 🐾

I’ve always believed that success isn’t only about what we earn, but what we choose to do with what we have.

I believe in kindness. I believe in karma. And I believe that when we have the ability to help, we should.

Today, a part of this closing will go directly into the bowls of animals who deserve a second chance. And that makes this closing feel like so much more than a transaction. ❤️🐶🐱

Sometimes changing a life simply starts with choosing not to look away. ❤️🐾
