Press Release!!

Hopefully all of our Coconut River friends and neighbors have noticed our recent renovations at the entrances to our neighborhood. It has been 50 years since the original entrance islands were built, and they were overdue for some sprucing up!

Last June our Board of Directors voted to renovate the islands and asked for volunteers to carry out the project. Tanya Robinson, Teri Collins, Alyssa Dehnz and Jett Robinson all raised their hands, and got the ball rolling! Multiple bids were sought out on each portion and a landscaping design using Florida-native plants was carefully planned.

Ultimately we chose a contractor that grew up in Coconut River to do all of the work except the signage. Concrete Concepts, handled all of the construction, earth moving and landscaping. Diego Signs of Naples produced our new logo and signage.

We think it turned out great and hope you agree! Thanks so much to all who participated and cheered on the completion of our new islands.

A big shout out to our newest board member Chris McCully, who is rocking it and knocking out projects at the CRECA Pavilion area and a very big help to Jimmy Jones, helping him set up and wiring the additional cameras.
