After leaving my corporate job in December 2018, I wanted to do two things before figuring out my next chapter: travel back to Asia and spend part of the winter living in Naples.
I had only visited Naples once before on a golf trip with Joe, but something about this little beach town stayed with me. The sunshine, the convenience, the feeling that life just seemed lighter here - I couldn’t stop thinking about it!
So for March and April 2019, I rented this very home.
For two months, my Gram, Roo, and I settled into a rhythm that quickly felt like home. Morning walks around the lake. Card games and coffee on the lanai. Bike rides to Vanderbilt Beach. Farmers market on Saturday mornings. Catching sunsets at the beach. Discovering local restaurants. Exploring what makes Naples “Naples”.
Before my lease was over, Joe and I were under contract on our first investment property here.
Looking back now that decision changed the course of my life.
Fast forward to today and I had the privilege of representing the very home where my Naples story began.
It went under contract just two days after hitting the market so I never had the chance to share it the way I normally would. But I couldn’t let this full-circle moment pass without telling the story behind it and how this house will always be more than just another listing to me - it ultimately led me to build a life, a career, and a home here in Naples.
Sometimes all it takes is one place to completely change your future. I am so grateful for this one! 🤍🌞
