I am not very active here on Facebook. I don't post as often here on Facebook my stories, my challenges, my success but this is a moment worth sharing. Best outcome in terms of location, criteria, price negotiated, furnished, with closing costs paid and an interest rate that made this purchase a better cost effective transition from his rental situation. When I met the buyer's parents at an open house a while back I couldn't have seen this coming together... I simply didn't believe it. That you can meet someone at an open house and then they would refer you to someone else that has a high interest in buying a property of such. To me, getting this property under contract was and still is a dream come true. I felt like I have reached a milestone in my career. I feel like no matter what the future holds (and I believe that more similar results will open up for me as opportunities) - this is a pivotal moment for my business as a real estate agent. I believe every agent in the industry starts big with the dream of selling a million dollar house. Like the million dollar idea lingers in the minds of a lot of realtors. The million dollar mark sets the tone for entry level luxury. But what about 2, 3, 4+ million?! Not to brag, but this is a moment I cried for. I drove back home in tears - seeing my life, my past, my childhood in a flash. At the end of the day I am just a girl from Romania. It's not even about the commission. It is just the principle that we can truly do whatever we want in this lifetime. That open house paid off for all the open houses I hosted in the past 5 years since I have been a licensed realtor. My two recent pendings came from open houses and I will never underestimate open houses again. I am beyond grateful for all God's support and lessons.
