While this article represents what's happening on a national level, our local market is still strong. But I am watching the new housing starts carefully. With so much development happening east of Village Walk, property values will continue to stay strong longer even as newer communities develop.

Total housing starts fell 2.0% in June. Weakness in the single-family sector was partially lessened by a 10.3% rise in the multifamily sector.
