POV: It’s Friday afternoon and productivity just… left the building 😴🐾

All four dogs = completely OUT.
Not a tail wag, not an ear twitch… just full shutdown mode.

Meanwhile I’m over here realizing my entire “staff” has officially clocked out early without notice. No meetings. No motivation. Just vibes and naps.

Morale? Questionable.
Work ethic? Gone.
Cuteness level? Unacceptable… because now I want a nap too.

At this point, I’m just trying to keep the business running solo while management is snoring in surround sound 😂

I’m not wasting a single minute at a “No Kings” protest because… we don’t have a king. We have an elected president. This isn’t medieval Europe, it’s basic civics.

Calling it “No Kings” just proves how far removed from reality some people are. You can disagree with policies all day long—that’s your right—but pretending we’re living under a monarchy just makes the whole thing look uninformed.

Meanwhile, there’s actual work being done, decisions being made, and results being delivered. I’d rather put my time into real life than stand in a crowd yelling slogans that don’t even pass a middle school government class.

Sitting on a picnic table, dogs at my feet, and nothing but open land and a sunset that doesn’t need a filter… and I can’t help but think—I never thought I’d be here.

Not just here as in the middle of nowhere, but here in life. Slowed down. Still. Content.

Everything feels paused in the best way. No noise, no rush—just the kind of quiet you don’t realize you’ve been craving until it wraps around you. Just a view that goes on forever and a sky putting on a show like it knows I needed it.

Don’t get me wrong—I’ll always love the city. The energy, the chaos, the life. But right now? This… this is heaven.

A city girl, somehow traded in the skyline for open skies—and I’ve never been happier.

They say that when something is broken and mended with gold, it becomes stronger and more beautiful than it was before. That’s exactly what my husband did for me. He didn’t just meet me where I was… He picked up every single broken piece and carefully glued me back together. I’m so incredibly blessed to walk through life with a man who sees my words, even when I couldn’t see it myself. I’m better because of him.
