It’s important to stay positive when buying a home, because you never know what can happen in 30 days.

It’s great to have a plan and an idea of what you want from the experience, but don’t forget that there are many variables that can come into play. For example:

-You might find a house that isn’t even on the market yet!

-The sellers may decide they want to sell sooner than they originally planned.

-Your mortgage broker may tell you they can get your financing approved faster than expected.

There are so many things that can happen in 30 days that may make your dream home suddenly become available! You just never know—so keep an open mind and enjoy the journey!

In case you’re looking to get your feet wet in the real estate market, here are some tips for how to prepare.

1. Start with a budget. You don’t want to get into the market too quickly, but you also don’t want to spend years saving up for an investment that you can’t afford. Make sure you have enough money set aside so that you don’t have to start paying rent on a new home until your current one sells or rents out.

2. Get pre-approved for a mortgage loan. This means that a bank has checked you out and decided that they’ll give you a loan if the time comes when you need one—which could be very soon if you buy an investment property!

3. Consider buying in areas where rents are rising rapidly and property values are increasing at a steady rate.

They’ll find the perfect home for your family, negotiate on your behalf, and make sure everything goes smoothly from start to finish.
