This Sunday is the 14th annual Pets on Third event in Naples.

You can head to historic Third Street South to support Humane Society Naples. There will be a parade with pets decked out like your favorite characters because this year’s theme is Storybook Pets: People and Pets in Books… think Toto and Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz! 🌴✨

It’s not that often that the city of Naples is the regional hot spot for new restaurants coming to the area but such is the case in 2023. Nearly 20 new dining venues are targeted to open this calendar year within the city limits.

That’s nearly a quarter of the more than 80 restaurants already on the radar coming to Naples, North Naples, East Naples, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers and elsewhere in Southwest Florida. Of course, those are the ones we know about now. Expect even more. 🌴✨

Lee County Parks & Recreation announced Monday morning that Lakes Regional Park has officially reopened.

The park at 7330 Gladiolus Drive will be open daily from 7 a.m. to dusk after having remained closed since Hurricane Ian. In addition, the Railroad Museum of South Florida, Wheel Fun Rentals at Lakes Regional Park and the Lakes Park Farmers Market will be open and operating this week. Some park amenities, such as the water features and splash pads, will remain closed. 🌴✨
