"I just want to be happy"

As a coach I hear this over and over. How many times have you said this to yourself? It's always something you are waiting for or something you need to happen to make you happy.

Did you know that you don't have to wait until you find your soulmate or get the promotion or lose 10 pounds or retire, to live your dream life. What if you woke up happy everyday! Goals and fantasies are great, but suffering until you have them - not so great.

Did you know that every time you judge another you deny yourself compassion. Every time you make an excuse you deny yourself your own power. And every time you feel envious of others you deny yourself abundance. Is what you're thinking denying you happiness?

My challenge to you is to question your thoughts. Is what you're thinking denying you a moment of happiness or compassion or your power or a feeling of abundance? Try it. You might just start feeling happy.
