Many areas of Collier County are experiencing standing water and flash flooding.
Flooded roads should be avoided when possible. The water could be contaminated with toxic materials or may be hiding larger objects. Just 6 inches of water can cause you to lose control of your vehicle.
As it continues to rain please drive slowly and turn on your headlights.
Remember, if you can’t see the roadway, it’s not safe to drive on.
