Snakes, something you will come across while performing a professional home watch visit in Florida. Here I encountered a small water moccasin snake when I opened the skimmer cover of a clients pool. To remove it safely I found a fallen branch from a common Christmas Palm. When I inserted the base of the branch that looks like tube, the water moccasin willingly slithered into the tube. Then I took it the the bank of the pond next to the lanai so it could be back where it came from.

A professional Homewatch visit includes walking around the home looking for any pests or rodents. One Florida species is an armadillo. An unoccupied home can look very attractive to this guy.
