Morning walks and cardio. If you are a morning person, there are so many benefits to early morning walks. Feeling one with nature and the divine, quiet and uninterrupted thoughtful moments, and a peaceful start to your day are just some of the mental benefits. Physically, it’s a great way to get in a fasted cardio, get a good start to your daily steps, as well as jumpstarting your metabolism. It’s free, no fancy gym or equipment required, it’s something we can all do at all levels of fitness, and hopefully keep doing into our senior years.

At the age of 63, I decided I wanted to compete again at an NPC show. Having been on stage 10 years ago and thinking I was done, this was my new challenge. My last hurrah in a bodybuilding competition. While my happy ending did not happen up on stage, it came in the form of a better, ever changing, stronger version of myself. I am grateful for the experience and what lays ahead. I want to thank my neighbors, friends, and family for their support and cheerleading. Leo for our monthly lunches which gave us this bright idea to compete. Special recognition to JP my coach, mentor, friend. Thank you! Thank you!
