🚗🌵 Get Your Kicks at Bradford Square! 🌵🚗

Our Route 66 Centennial Party was a road trip to remember! From Chicago to Santa Monica, every table represented a different stop along the Mother Road, complete with wildflowers, Route 66 Centennial touches, and a ceiling transformed into a sunny blue sky with clouds—as if we were all cruising down the highway under the big sky. ☀️☁️

Residents got in on the journey by flagging places they had visited on our giant Route 66 map, and many chose to sit at the table representing their hometown. The best part? Several residents discovered that they had grown up in the same hometown without ever knowing it! New connections, old memories, and plenty of stories made the evening extra special. ❤️

Our kitchen took inspiration from the different regions along Route 66, serving up steak crostini with cilantro aioli, followed by fried chicken, St. Louis-style ribs, corn on the cob, and green beans, and ending with individual banana split sundaes. 🍌🍨

We also celebrated two incredible 68th wedding anniversaries and our August birthdays, including our very own Ralph, who celebrated turning 99! 🎂🎉

And of course, no Route 66 road trip would be complete without live music and dancing! Residents came dressed for the occasion in leather jackets, cowboy hats, bandanas, and jeans—and they absolutely brought the spirit of the road with them. 🎶🤠

It was an evening filled with laughter, memories, music, dancing, delicious food, and a few new friendships along the way.

The road may run from Chicago to Santa Monica, but the best destination was right here at Bradford Square. ❤️

🎄☀️ Who says you have to wait until December to celebrate Christmas? ☀️🎄

Last week, Bradford Square brought a little holiday magic to the middle of summer with our Christmas in July Celebration!

Residents embraced the festive spirit by wearing their favorite Christmas sweaters, cozy holiday pajamas, Santa hats, and plenty of merry smiles as we gathered around our beautifully decorated Christmas tree in the dining room.

Our culinary team prepared a spectacular holiday feast that began with a refreshing shrimp cocktail, followed by a traditional Christmas dinner featuring chef-carved turkey served right in the dining room, glazed ham, garlic mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and all the delicious holiday favorites. It truly felt like Christmas had arrived six months early!

Of course, no celebration would be complete without raising a glass. We toasted our July birthdays and anniversaries with our signature Santa's Sandbar Spritz cocktail—a festive favorite that was the perfect blend of Christmas cheer and sunny Florida vibes.
From singing along to holiday classics and dancing around the tree to sharing laughter with friends, the afternoon was filled with the warmth, joy, and togetherness that make the holidays so special.

At Bradford Square, we don't believe joy should only come once a year... so we brought Christmas to July, and it was a celebration to remember! ❤️🎅🎁
