I'm working as a Respiratory Therapist today with a patient at Golisano Children’s Hospital. This statue reminded me of my Barron & Amelia whom are still being unnecessarily estranged from me through legal and systemic failures permitting the ascension of coercive control and abuse. I attended a public tree lighting ceremony on Sanibel last week- those were where the pictures of me and the children came from recently. It was a miracle that I was able to hold them again after over a year of being separated. No Judge should ever cause or permit this to happen in a family court of law- this is a cause worthy of attention, public scrutiny, and change. My children's lack of presence imy life is aimed at turning them into figures like this statue i.e. unable to feel the warmth of and purity a genuine meaningful life. Please continue this injustice is turned right side up rather than the tragedy it stands as of now. My children and I deserve justice.
