Her Post was not sharable. So I am going to copy and paste and link to her page (at bottom) in hopes that others can offer assistance as well. This woman and her husband take care of multiple children from bad situations in her home already.

URGENT: (Seriously urgent, as in I cannot do this and need help!)
RENTAL PROPERTY NEEDED: This darling family, Mom, 9 year old daughter, and husband who has no legs and is on disability and wheelchair bound, is paying $250 per week to rent a laundry room in a house with a drunkard.
They were paying twice as much to stay at a motel, which was a better situation for the husband because this location demands that he crawl from room to room and he has two hernias that need surgery. They need to be in a handicap friendly place and are trying to save toward an annual lease so they moved into this mans house to save money.
I could go into a long explanation as to their circumstances but I am simply going to say that if you are raised in a trailer park from birth, with what I would describe as a low income mentality, and nobody teaches you differently, that is what you repeat because it is all you know! They do not know how to rise above their circumstances. But this I can tell you, they are VERY KIND AND HARD WORKING PEOPLE and this little girl and this little family deserve a stable home.
DO YOU HAVE A RENTAL???? THEY CAN AFFORD $2,000 A MONTH!!! Please, help me get them into a long term rental that they can call home. We just love this family and their little girl is a part of our tribe, playing with our kids as often as possible and we are giving the mom side jobs to help out.
SINGLE INJURED MOM: We are seeking assistance with rent for a single mom who was in a horrible car accident, lost her job, still in recovery, was in a DV shelter before the accident and was placed in an RV that she is renting with children ages 9, 7, 4, 4, and a newborn. Can't return to the Domestic Violence shelter because it isn't related to abuse and needs to pay the rent for her RV. She needs help to pay her bills because she is UNABLE TO WORK! Her family is in Michigan and are helping as much as they can, but it is still not enough with 5 kids! FINANCIAL HELP NEEDED FOR HER!
HOUSING SINGLE PREGNANT MOM WITH 8 MONTH OLD BABY: Was displaced from the shelter in Bradenton for reasons that are exceedingly complicated. This girl needs a family environment, she needs mentors, she is a new mom at a very young age and needs help navigating all of this. Do you know of any shelters/women's homes/pregnancy homes in this Ft. Myers or Naples area (or anywhere for that matter!) that will take her in??
I seriously can't believe it is that hard when their sole purpose is to accept people exactly like her!
JOB AND CAR FOR SINGLE DAD: Need a studio rental near downtown Ft. Myers and a job downtown Ft. Myers. He is a great candidate and clean cut and professional looking, he has just gone through a breakup and is displaced. We really want to see him get back on his feet so he can have a place for his kids to stay.
CARS: We need vehicles! A single Dad needs an SUV or van to be able to transport all his kids at one time, another single Dad needs anything with a/c that's reliable, the family I mentioned above needs a car that can transport a wheelchair, another single Mom in Lehigh needs a car so she can get a reliable job.
If I had the funds, I would help every single one of these people who just need to know that someone cares enough to do something! When you have children and no car, you cannot be successful in life without utter exhaustion and frustration. Please help!!

Many of you may be wondering about the effects that all this may have on our local Real Estate Market and your home values in particular. So I wanted to take a moment to discuss my personal Insight on the Real Estate market. First of all, lets talk about homes for sale that are already on the Market. In most cases to get an offer you must have showings. Have the number of showings been effected. There is no scientific tracking numbers on this data but just from what I've seen and heard I would have to say yes. Showing numbers are down. Next logical question is " Does that mean I should pull my house from the market or not list my home right now?" This is a personal answer only you can decide. I will however tell you this. I spoke with one of my preferred Lenders on Friday and he received five new deals just that day. I watch daily sales activity for the Naples Market and every day including today there have been New Pending Listings. Someone is still making offers on homes. Another Question on many minds is probably. "Will this have an effect on my homes value?". If, I had a crystal ball I would be worth a lot more than I am. I can not answer that question for sure but I can tell you this much. Just like the rest of our economy. A lot will depend on the duration of this "economic shutdown" If we can keep it "short lived" In my humble opinion the effects will be minimal if any. We could see a huge "bounce back". If this stretches on to July/August time frame or beyond. The Lord only knows. This uncertainty is the reason for the volatility of the Stock Market and many peoples concern for the future. So in summary here is my best advice. If you are not in real need of buying or selling a house right now. You may want to wait on the sidelines until we see when the end of this is going to be. That being said. I have heard of cases where "savvy investors" are coming in now and trying to get bargains from sellers who are "weary" . If you really are in need of buying or selling a house right now. Then you should proceed, as long as the government will allow us to continue to do business. Of course you should do this following all precautionary guidelines we have been give. I would also recommend setting your closing date to be as quick as possible as the future of when more businesses including title companies and lenders may be shut down is unknown. As always if anyone needs to discuss real estate or other issues I'm am always available to assist in any way I can. Steve Reed. MVP Realty. [email protected] or 239-300-8029

Why homes sometimes don't sell with one realtor and do with another.
