🗺FUTURE LAND USE MAPPING WORKSHOP - interactive & hands-on🗺
Thursday, November 6 at 6 p.m. at Londonderry Town Hall
Londonderry is updating its Master Plan. The current Master Plan was adopted in 2013, and much has changed since then, including new housing needs, economic opportunities, and infrastructure investments. Updating the plan ensures that future decisions about land use, housing, and conservation reflect today’s community priorities. A key part of this update is creating a Future Land Use Map, which illustrates where growth, reinvestment, and resource protection should occur over the next 10 to 20 years. This map will directly inform future zoning and development strategies, helping Londonderry manage growth while maintaining its unique character.
We need your help to put those ideas on the map. This interactive, hands-on workshop will be a fun planning exercise where participants work together to explore different growth scenarios and identify the best locations for new housing, business areas, open space, and community amenities. Your input will help shape the next generation of Londonderry’s Master Plan and ensure it truly reflects the vision of the people who live here.
