Symphony NH presents Soul City Collective
virtually from Riverwalk Cafe
7:30 pm Thursday

Symphony NH continues teaming up with Riverwalk Cafe, to bring the live music experience to you in a safe and convenient way.

Tune in Thursday evening to get a taste of Soul City! The parent band, Soul City, is an 11-piece ensemble combined of rhythm section, horns, and vocalists whose motto is:"You will dance. Resistance is futile."

Due to Covid restrictions, only five members from Soul City (drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, and saxophone) will be performing as the Soul City collective in a jazz quintet setting. But don't you dare think that with less people, they will be bringing any less energy!

This is an exciting opportunity to discover and support local musical groups in a safe environment for all.

Tickets are $15.

DowntownNashua.org Presents:

Our photo of the week really intrigued us! As Imagine Nashua invites all of us to offer big-sky dreaming for the future of our city, one suggestion posted was "ziplining at Mine Falls." During a discussion on the Nashua Past, Present & Future page, Den Levesque shared this incredible photo and piece of history:

As recently as 1908, folks used "an aerial trolley" – basically the precursor to ziplines – to cross the Nashua river at the Cotton Mill. They built the existing Cotton Mill Transfer Bridge on this site in 1910. Can you imagine doing this back in the day – in turn of the century attire?! Wow!

Great American Downtown is continuing our research into a second free walkable art tour, this time along the river (right near the Cotton Mill bridge), to roll out this summer, and then a Nashua history tour. What would you like to see? Let us know!
