I am so honored and grateful to have been able to help some dear friends land their dream home in Cleveland Park in East Nashville. This 1928 historic home spares no detail. It is filled with character from top to bottom and has been so loved throughout the nearly 100 years it has been standing.

Excited to get this one to the closing table. It’s special.

How is the market today? I’m getting a lot of questions on the shift we have seen in Nashville since interest rates have risen from the start of 2022. Despite all the doom and gloom talk the Nashville market is still strong and we are seeing a return to a more normal housing market which we desperately needed. Inventory is up but it is still extremely low compared to where it should be. This shift is allowing buyers the ability to negotiate in ways that have not been available to them over the past few years. This is providing great opportunities in the market if you know where and how to look for them!

“Market activity decreased significantly as rates rose 200 basis points since the start of the second quarter,” said Steve Jolly, Greater Nashville Realtors president. “While many expect doom and gloom, returning to normal interest rates and levels of activity is healthy for the Nashville real estate market. Prices remain strong for sellers, while buyers have more time to find the right property and may be able to negotiate for more items like property repairs and closing costs.”

As I’m nearing my 2 year anniversary in Real Estate, it is not lost on me that I have been so blessed to have had the opportunity to serve the community of Nashville.

I am incredibly proud of the business my clients have helped me build by putting their trust in me to help them navigate this market. Especially during times that have had tremendous challenges.

That Nash Realtor is a name and brand that I have poured countless hours into, and I’m so grateful to all who have supported me as I transitioned into real estate from the music industry.

With that said, I’m excited to announce a change: That Nashville Native.

Nashville has been the place that I have called home my entire life - having a front row seat to watch this city grow into what it is today has been amazing.

That Nash Native is a brand and name that reflects exactly who I am and the community that I wish to serve. I am here to use a lifetime of knowledge of this great city to help as many people as possible reach their goals in real estate through buying, selling, investing, and developing the future of Nashville.

Congratulations to my friend and client who was able to lock up this beautiful and turn key investment property over the weekend!

The market is changing but that doesn’t mean that the Nashville market isn’t still competitive. We were able to edge out several other offers in order to win in this situation. Now my client is poised to have a cash flowing asset at an incredibly friendly purchase price.
