Congratulations, congratulations! I could not be more proud of Mr. Lance Carter on his graduation from AMP UP Charlotte last week. This 7 month MBA style program educates business owners on how to elevate, promote, equip, and empower themselves and their companies! As Lance is endeavoring to take his company, Phoenix Management Group, to the next level, this new found knowledge will help him do just that. Additionally, he was honored and asked to be the Class Speaker at the graduation for his growth and dedication throughout the course!

To my colleague, business partner, confidant, and most importantly, my son... Congratulations again! I am very proud of you for your diligence, determination, knowledge, and continued strive for excellence everyday. Keep doing amazing things and amazing things will continue to come!

The Loan Officer summit was such an amazing event! Great insight from Industry Experts and Top Producers Panel – Learning What’s Working Right Now. We learned about rethinking everything about social influence and the art of showing up. I’m had an opportunity to meet, network, and engage with some amazing individuals that are not only reshaping the industry but making a difference in the lives of their Clients. I truly enjoyed myself and look forward to other events like this in the future!

Community Day sponsored by the NAREB Nashville was an excellent event! It was inspiring to stand with industry leaders dedicated to transforming lives through home ownership and generational wealth. The day was filled with educational events and networking on topics such as the ABCs of Homebuying, I have Equity…now what, Real Estate Careers, and much more. Truly, God makes no mistakes. On this day, 40 years ago, God turned what some may have viewed as a “mistake”, into a miracle! LaShan, you entered the world ready to make an impact. Your presence made positive impact from day one on everyone’s life including mine. By living in your own 86,400 seconds everyday, you have continued to transform lives break barriers, and achieve your own success!

You radiate beauty from the inside out, and it is infectious. Your inner light brings out the light in others, even in the darkest of times.

Incredibly proud of on being a recipient of the FAITH Awards 2025. This award is bestowed to those whom were the First African American in History to achieve success in a particular action. LaShan, who has been the first African American in many different avenues, (First African American to win United States of American Mrs., First African American Director of Public Health for Rutherford County, etc.) definitely deserves this award. Words cannot express the feeling of inspiration I get when I look at the amazing things she has accomplished and will continue to! Thank you for allowing me to be apart of this and for a great time. Congratulations again!

What a week! I was honored to be apart of the Youth Reading Day sponsored again by the NAREB where we read The House She Built by Mollie Elkman and Georgia Castellano . The time spent at Carter Lawrence school was inspiring. These children are truly remarkable!

Additionally, I got a visitor this week at the Wilson Bank branch and this young gentleman, King, will be a future leader! (And just look at that smile 🤩) This week I was surrounded by the future and is it wonderful to know that these talented minds will be change we need to see in the world! Thanksful to know we will be a great hands.
