Happy closing day to my sellers! 🏡🎉

This one was a whirlwind from the very beginning. On day 2 of being on the market, we received an offer with zero contingencies and a quick closing timeline. The offer was a little lower than my sellers had hoped for, but since they were relocating across the country, they decided it was the safest and strongest option.

Fast forward two weeks: we were set to close, and while reviewing the settlement statement from the title company, I noticed their proceeds were higher than we originally expected. Like…$20,000 higher.

Turns out, we had been given the wrong mortgage payoff amount, and the number they were actually walking away with was the exact amount they had hoped to make all along!

Real estate is truly never boring, but I’m so happy this one worked out even better than expected. Congratulations to my sellers on closing this chapter and starting their next adventure! 🥂
