Stunning to know that homeowners are remaining in their homes twice as long as they did just 2 decades ago. From newly released Redfin data, the length of time staying put has grown from 6 to 12 years. Latest study shows owners of Tennessee Airbnb-listed properties as #2 in earnings nationwide behind only Hawaii. The average for US hosts was $44,235 annually. In TN…a whopping $67,510. Contact me. Nobody enjoys the crossover between real estate and tourism more than I do.

Did you see The Wall Street Journal/Mansion Global (Feb 2) article titled - Home Buyers Are Looking at Far More Bargaining Power? It's a timely real estate overview using nationwide data from Realtor.com. But I would be cautious about over reliance on this info in the Middle TN marketplace. I would also caveat that its usefulness has a limited time horizon. If you are considering a home purchase, action in February and into early March would serve you well.
