I am not in the business of mold but as a real estate agent, I am in the buisness of people and their best interest.
I can't tell you how many times I hear or see a post about using bleach to kill mold.
First and foremost, seek out a certified mold inspector for help... but please know

I'll explain.
If you can catch a spore at the very beginning, bleach may work, but in most cases 👉 mold is never just on the surface of something 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬.
Since bleach can not pentrate porous surfaces, it can not kill where the mold is coming from. This will also cause the mold membranes to move deeper into the affected surface to hide from the bleach and begin reproducing at a rapid rate to become stronger.
While there are numerous proper ways to attack a mold problem depending on the situation, take bleach off the list, it's not one of them.
