In a world where we often hear the mantra that “anything is possible,” our words ground us in the reality that possibilities, while numerous, are not infinite. It’s a wake-up call to those who daydream without recognizing the tangible steps required to attain a goal.

The importance of taking pre-determined, calculated action, even if imperfect, lies in the fact that actions create momentum. Analysis paralysis, or endlessly pondering the “perfect” course, often leads to stagnation. This mindset wastes time and potential. By committing to a path, you put your energy into forward motion.

Calculated action means embracing the possibility of imperfection but moving forward regardless. It’s the embodiment of the philosophy that perfection can be the enemy of good. In seeking the ideal, we may lose out on the attainable. Mistakes and imperfections are part of the learning process, and often the road to true mastery.

The emphasis on pre-determined actions doesn’t mean acting impulsively; rather, it encourages a thoughtful analysis and then decisive movement. It’s about recognizing that possibilities aren’t endless; they are shaped by our choices, our environment, and our commitment to act.

Throwback to 2 years ago when I sold this one-of-a-kind property! This unique piece of real estate was a true labor of love. When I first came across it, the sellers at the time thought it was listed but the agent never even marketed the property ( Sad) , neglected building that had been abandoned for years. But, I saw potential in it, I envisioned the beauty it could become and it had to be done for the sellers that after 8 months of the previous agent not being able to sell it ( Lack of simple dedication) . They had tried to list it since 2014-2015 with no success, several developers tried to buy with no success.
The process of acquiring and marketing this challenge was not easy. From speaking with zoning and planning to finding the right buyer it was a true test of patience and perseverance. But, with the help of a great team, we were able to accept a contract, it took several hours of negotiation as I convinced the buyer and seller both to make this work
It was a true pleasure to see the final result and even more satisfying to have the inheritance of my clients finally come to fruition for them. This property will always hold a special place in my heart, it was a true testament to the power of hard work and determination and was my first “large deal”
Reason why I am posting this today is because I spoke with one of my clients today and she told me her brother passed away in December. Her brother was the guy who answered my cold call, talked to me for an hour and he was my point of contact for the next few months it took me connect with him and his siblings and then we were officially Client/Realtor. Rest In Peace Ron, hope they have classic hot rods in heaven
