Avoid expensive horse property mistakes that could impact your horses and your wallet 👇🏼

Horse property expertise isn’t about loving horses…it’s about understanding the land, facilities, and daily realities of keeping horses there.

One of the biggest mistakes buyers make is focusing on the house, acreage, or barn photos while overlooking costly issues.

Red flags to watch for:
• Poor drainage that turns pastures into mud pits
• Unsafe or inadequate fencing

These problems can affect both your horses and your day-to-day management.

As a former professional farrier, I’ve spent years on horse properties of every shape and size. The best properties aren’t always the prettiest, they’re the ones that function well.

If you’re looking for horse property in Tennessee, don’t just buy a barn and acreage.

Buy a property that works for both you and your horses. 🐎

Thinking about buying land or a home in Middle Tennessee?

I come from a background in real estate investing, and before that I spent 10 years working as a farrier, so I tend to look at properties a little differently than most agents, especially when it comes to land, layout, drainage, and how things actually function day to day.

I especially enjoy working with equine and rural properties, but I’m happy to help with anything from first homes to land to investments.

If you’re starting to look or just have questions, feel free to message me.

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a little update.

After spending the past few years investing in real estate, I realized how much I genuinely enjoy working with properties and helping people navigate big decisions around buying and selling. That led me to start my career in real estate, and I’m really excited about this next chapter.

Before real estate, I worked hands-on with horses as a farrier, which gave me a lot of experience seeing how land, barns, drainage, and property layout actually function in the real world. Because of that background, I especially enjoy helping people evaluate equine and rural properties, but I’m happy to work with all types of buyers and sellers.

If you or someone you know is thinking about buying, selling, or even just has questions about the market, feel free to reach out. I’d love to help.

Also, I’m curious, how many of my Facebook friends are horse people or have always wanted land for horses?
