Inclement weather is actually a great time to look at houses. It tends to reveal flaws that you can't see when its a great day, which can save you hundreds of dollars on an inspection which would have turned up the same thing presumably. Drive carefully out there and happy hunting.

Momentum...its the word of the day. Buying or selling share so much common ground but most important of all is momentum. Without it nothing can move. When buying or selling ask your Realtor to drive momentum through active and creative targeting marketing and communication. Momentum is key people.

One of the scariest parts of buying a home is just letting go. Overwhelming doesn't really begin to describe the process of finding the perfect home so here's some advice: Let someone else do it. Let go of the responsibility of finding the right place. Give your Realtor the things you are looking for and then look forward to being surprised.

On the first official work day of the New Year. I hope everyone is feeling productive and refreshed. Lots of great stuff happening in the housing market. Be ready for a big year. If your a buyer lets get looking at things. If your a seller, make an appointment to speak to a good realtor. Pricing is key on both ends. Don't over pay, don't under sell.

New Year, new opportunities. Interest paid on a home loan is tax deductible in most instances and the more of it you pay the more of it you can deduct. Buying a home early in the year can contribute to a greater tax deduction come January 2012. Don't buy a house just for tax reasons though. Buy a house this year because your ready to take ownership in your living situation.
