Unpopular opinion: we need to be extremely careful how we use AI as a tool in real estate.

These days, AI is being used on everything from meal planning, to writing tricky emails, to planning vacations. It’s a great tool and starting place for so many projects. But in the complex world of real estate, AI will never replace the nuanced skill and care that I use to provide great service to my clients.

AI will never understand the timeline of your family, how to navigate the emotional roller coaster that buying and selling can be, or fully understand shifts in different markets and how to apply fair housing laws. Personally, I don’t trust AI to write my listing descriptions or marketing plans, but it is a valuable tool in other areas of my business!

Some closings hit a bit different and this one is a standout. 🗝️ I started working with Danna through a mentor program a few years ago. She was so motivated and organized, becoming one of the first in the program to buy her own home! Then she graduated the program and became a mentor too! She and her daughter outgrew their first place and were ready to step up into a home that gives them more freedom. So we worked diligently through some challenging circumstances to get her home sold. She needed to find her new home quickly, and it all came together. Seeing her daughter run through her new room for the first time was a reminder of why I love what I do! And the icing on the cake 🎂 is that the woman who bought Danna’s townhome is also a single mom, who was having a hard time finding a home in her budget. The buyers agent and I both felt emotional when we got the contract signed! There were so many pieces that fell into place along the way that could only be divinely inspired. ✨ It was an honor to work with Danna and I can’t wait for them to settle into their new home! 🏡
