When I first walked through the home with the investor, he believed the property was about 90% ready to launch. But once we did a full design and strategy assessment together, it became clear that several things needed to change before the home could really function well as a shared living environment.
We identified areas that needed attention from updating lighting and fixtures, replacing furniture that wouldn't hold up well in shared housing, repairing flooring properly, and overhauling parts of the kitchen and bathroom.
None of this is unusual. These are actually very common challenges investors run into when setting up Co-living properties without a clear design strategy.
The good news is that renovations have started, and I'll be sharing updates as this property continues its transformation.
