Moondance Vacation Homes are the perfect choice to spend quality time with family and friends. We provide vacation rentals in Nashville and throughout Brown County with a wide range of outdoor activities for your entertainment. All our properties are well maintained and equipped to enhance visitor comfort and convenience. Our fully furnished cabins include fireplaces, grills, hot tubs, kitchens, television, telephone, heating, and air conditioning systems. All you need to carry is food, drinks, charcoal, and personal accessories to enjoy your stay. We accept reservations for our cabins up to two years in advance, and our policy requires a minimum stay of two nights with a deposit of fifty dollars that is non-refundable. All of our properties require a 2-night minimum stay. Our properties are close to major attractions in the area, with each cabin offering its unique set of comforts and amenities. Apart from wining and dining, our guests can engage in various outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, boating, golf, shopping, salon and spa services, and much more. Everybody fits at one table. That’s the whole point of The Farm. 🍂

Twelve of you can gather around the fireplace on one couch and around the dining table, and in October that fire is lit. Grab a pole from the house and catch your supper from the stocked pond. Rack up the pool table, settle the ping pong rematch, then let the hot tub take the chill off once the sun goes down. 🎣

Mornings start at the big coffee and beverage center, and evenings end around the fire pit or out on one of two covered porches. The farmhouse has six bedrooms and 5.5 baths, and every room has its own farm theme. Whoever lands the horse room downstairs gets saddles, hats and a private porch.

It’s built for reunions, milestone birthdays and the whole crew. Bring the dog, too. There’s a $75 pet fee, and Moondance donates a portion to the Brown County Humane Society. 🐾

Saturday night, the Discovery Trail at Brown County State Park glows with candles. 🎃

The park’s Fall Festival, formerly Halloween in the Hills, runs Oct. 17 from noon to 9 p.m. at the Nature Center. Stop in between noon and 4 to make Halloween crafts, including animal masks. Carve a pumpkin at your cabin and enter it in the contest, too. Entries are due at the Nature Center picnic shelter before 4 p.m., and there are prizes for three age groups.

Campground trick-or-treating runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. After dark, take the candlelight hike or gather at the Friends’ Circle for campfire stories from 7 to 9, with the contest pumpkins on display. The scary ones wait until after 8:30. 🔦

When the last candle burns down, head back to your own cabin in the hills, tuck the kids in and keep the night going a little longer.

Nashville Suite 2 sits upstairs in a late-1800s building in the heart of downtown Nashville. Brown County artist Fred Rigley once called that building home. Step out your private entrance and you’re a short walk from the boutiques and restaurants. Shop until your arms are full, then climb your own staircase home and drop the bags.

The ceilings run high and the furniture is vintage. Sink into the king bed after a long day in the village, or cook dinner in the full kitchen when you’d rather stay in.

Bring your pet, too. There’s a $75 pet fee, and Moondance donates a portion to the Brown County Humane Society. 🐾

The frogs start singing at the pond’s edge right about the time you sink into the hot tub. 🐸

Bear’s Den AnnaBelle is a log cabin built in 2023, looking out over rolling hills and the Salt Creek Golf Course. Nashville and Brown County State Park are minutes away. Ride the park’s mountain bike trails all afternoon, then roll your bike straight into the game room and rack up the pool table while somebody claims the big screen. 🎱

Every bedroom has its own bathroom, so nobody fights over the shower. The king suite gets a clawfoot tub, and the two queens each get a walk-in shower. When the night turns cool, the electric fireplace warms the great room, and the shared fire pit is waiting outside.

Bring the dog, too. Small dogs are welcome. 🐾

Walk into The Wild Olive in downtown Nashville and taste your way down the line of olive oils and aged balsamics. Go at your own pace or let the staff walk you through pairings and recipe ideas. You don’t need a reservation, so drop in whenever the mood hits. When you find your favorites, they bottle them right there in the shop.

Grab a spice blend or a gourmet pantry item on your way out, too. 🧂

Then carry it all back to the cabin. Pour a little oil on a plate, crack the balsamic and tear into that bread at your own kitchen table while the woods go dark outside. Dinner at home sounds a lot better when home is a Moondance cabin in the hills.

Carry your coffee up to the loft and watch the sunrise from the top of the hill. Come back at sunset for the second show. In between, you have 4,400 square feet to spread out in, a fireplace to gather around and a game room where pool, ping pong and air hockey settle every family argument. 🎱

When night falls, sink into the private hot tub and let the steam roll off your shoulders. The kids get the outdoor playset, and you get the covered deck.

Four bedrooms sleep up to eight, and downtown Nashville is 1.5 miles down the road. The base rate covers two guests and the king master, and more bedrooms open for an added fee as your group grows. That makes it a fit for a couple’s weekend or a full-house reunion.

Four guitars, 40 fingers and one stage in Nashville tonight. 🎸

40 Fingers, the Italian acoustic guitar quartet, plays Brown County Music Center tonight at 7:30. The set mixes original pieces with classic covers, all of it on acoustic guitars. Lobby doors open at 6 p.m., and tickets are at browncountymusiccenter.com.

A show like this deserves a slow ending. Walk out humming, drive back to your cabin and let the night wind down on the porch. 🍂

Somebody's in the hot tub, somebody's losing at shuffleboard, and the kids have claimed the treehouse. 🌲

Lemon Ridge Lodge sits on 10 private acres on Lake Lemon's south ridge. Drink your coffee on the wraparound deck while the woods wake up. Head down to the finished basement for foosball and a seat at the wet bar. Build a campfire after dark, then end the night by the fireplace. 🔥
