A Founding Mother: a novel of Abagail Adams

Was a five star read that had me hooked from the beginning. Even though this is a historical based book where you know the outcomes you are placed within the moment in time to see, hear and feel what Abigail Adams was living though. The birth and shaping of a nation. While the wife of one president and the mother of another she was also a woman who fought herself for justice for all. She spoke against slavery and for the rights for women long before those were topics discussed within our government. Great read and five stars!

Grateful to get to spend some quality time with in Sun Valley, Idaho and thankful to Walker Dunlap for the beautiful trip. We had wonderful dinners at the base of the surrounding mountains as our backdrop and I got to see and hear Matt in action doing what he does best as the President of The Clear Blue Company where he is making an impact building affordable housing.

We both got to hear the inspiring Arthur Brooks speak and got copies of his latest novel, The meaning of Your Life. Excited he is joining the Vanderbilt staff this year!

Today is graduation day for my two best girls! Elly Lou is moving from SHS onto SCA and our Laney B is graduating Father Ryan High School and heading to Western Kentucky. I’ll be in my feelings for awhile with these two growing up so much. I can’t believe one baby is of to high school and another to college. So proud and love them so much. The girls love Mamma Mia and this song plays in my head when I’m watching a moment pass.
