Those of you that know me might remember that when we moved into our tiny post-war Inglewood cottage, I set about de-greening it. By that I mean, pulling up the dark forest green carpeting that covered all the floors except the kitchen and bath, and meticulously scraping off the forest green and gold flocked wallpaper that covered every room. We re-painted a respectable Charleston gray (which Rob called Battleship) and let the floors speak for themselves. But slowly through the years this color has been creeping back into my consciousness and I find that I need green in my life. I know there are vastly more important things to dwell on in this day and time, but this tile in a small powder room or bath would really make me happy.
