Nashville real estate closed out June with 3,459 sales, up 8% from last year at this time. 📈

We’re so back! 🥳 Or, buyers are, rather. However, we are seeing that they’re buying a little differently.

Why? Well, there’s more inventory and prices are steadier, so buyers aren’t walking into a bidding war for homes that only partially meet their needs. For a buyer to make the leap, they have to feel confident about the home and secure in the investment potential.

That combination (more options, true competition, stable values) is what a healthy, balanced market looks like. It’s not the frenzy of 2021 (and we’re all so relieved about that 😥)

2️⃣ In case you didn’t know, I’m an Enneagram Type 2 to my core—which means I care deeply, maybe too deeply sometimes. I want everyone to feel seen, supported, and taken care of… and if I’m honest with my perfectionist self (my wing 3), I also want to get it right every single time….

But this job has a special way of humbling you. Sometimes factors are out of your control and not every deal is perfect. Not every outcome goes how you planned. And no matter how hard you try, you can’t always make everyone happy.

I’ve had to learn that doing my best doesn’t mean doing it perfectly—it means showing up as my authentic self, owning my mistakes, and learning from them. It means having the hard conversations, setting boundaries, and remembering that my worth isn’t tied to performance.

🤍Still, I wouldn’t trade the heart I bring to this. Because caring deeply is my super power —even when it stretches me. It helps me to empathize with my clients and my teammates and want to work so hard to help them achieve their goals. I often tell my clients “I’ll treat this as if it were my own home.” And I genuinely mean that.

So here’s to learning as I go, giving it everything I have, and becoming better with every single transaction🤍 and for the people who suppport me no matter what.

Don’t mind me—I’m just out here fighting for my client’s life over a leaking toilet. 🚽 All the agents before me warned me “you’ll be on calls mid vacation, mid baseball game, and mid- holiday party.” 🎧I always believed them.. but totally underestimated the extent of how often important conversations go on… all the time. This work never stops. While I make time for my family, I never shy away from important conversations and proactive communication - because I believe that rapport is absolutely critical to a successful deal. Even if it means skipping out on cocktails early… cheers to that
