Congratulations, you are under contract! While this does mean you are one step closer to living in your home - it is not a done deal! During the under contract period, the buyer AND seller have conditions to meet before the home sale can close and the seller can hand the keys over to the buyer.

The under contract period can be stressful - that’s why it’s so vital to have an experienced realtor in your corner to negotiate and communicate on your behalf. Any questions about being under contract?

A lot of times the term pre-approval gets tossed around like it means you are guaranteed a home loan, and that is not really the case!
Pre-approval is the first step in meeting the basic requirements of a loan. A full approval requires a much deeper dive into your finances - like paystubs, tax returns, a peek into your bank statements, etc.
If you are pre-approved, there is a GREAT chance you will meet the rest of the qualifications for a loan. But there are things that could change - like if you open new lines of credit or make a big purchase before becoming fully approved.
